On October 27th 2020 Minister Simon Harris announced a new initiative funding places on postgraduate programmes. In response to this initiative, the School of Electronic Engineering will offer places on individual modules (i.e. short courses), a graduate certificate and its MSc programme. These courses will begin on January 18th 2021.
Places on these courses are fully funded by the Irish government but people in employment who undertake these courses will have to pay 10% of the programme cost.
Postgraduate Programmes Available
MSc Electronic & Computer Technology (Internet of Things) – only available to the unemployed under job stimulus scheme
Single Modules/Short Courses
Duration & Delivery Mode
Each single module/short course is taken over one semester
Each semester has 12 teaching weeks and all teaching elements will be delivered online
The MSc in Electronic & Computer Engineering is a full-time, 12-month long programme
The Grad Cert in Electronic & Computer Engineering can be undertaken on a full-time (one semester) or part-time (two semester) basis
