Academic Scholarship Programme

From September 2017, incoming students to the School of Electronic Engineering at Dublin City University (DCU) will be awarded an academic scholarship worth €500 by gaining a CAO points’ requirement of 550+ through the Leaving Certificate or equivalent exams.

There is no application process for this academic scholarship. If students gain the stated number of points, meet the specific entry requirements and register in DCU, they will automatically receive the scholarship.

In addition to the monetary award, the students, along with their parents or guardians and former school principals, will be invited to come to DCU for an awards ceremony where the former school principal will receive a plaque for the school marking this significant achievement. The €500 will be offset against 2nd Semester fees. If a student is eligible for a SUSI grant, then the €500 will be refunded into their bank account.

Other Scholarship Programmes

DCU offers a number of more general undergraduate scholarship programmes.
